Getting Around Beauvais
The city of Beauvais in France is about 47 miles (75 kilometers) north of Paris. Residents and visitors can use public transportation for getting around Beauvais, FR. The Beauvais bus system travels to many areas of the city. Travelers can also take buses to and from the Beauvais-Tille Airport.
Twelve bus routes travel through Beauvais Monday through Saturday. Three bus routes operate on Sundays. An extra bus route is added during the summer months.
Travelers can take buses from Beauvais City Hall to different locations in the Beauvais area. The Line 1 bus travels south from City Hall to Saint John or northeast to the Argentine quarter of Beauvais. Passengers can take the Line 2 bus from City Hall north towards Beausejour or south to Saint John and Caurroy. Line 3 will transport passengers north to the hospital from City Hall or southeast to Saint Lazare. Line 4 travels from City Hall northeast to the Argentine quarter. Line 5 goes northwest to Wood Park from City Hall. Line 6 will take passengers from City Hall north to Saint Lucian. Line 8 goes southeast from City Hall. This bus then goes slightly north to Villers. Line 9 will take passengers north to the hospital from City Hall. This route also goes south from City Hall to Saint John and Caurroy. Line 12 takes passengers from City Hall to the airport. Line 13 travels west from City Hall to Auneuil. Line 14 takes passengers north from City Hall to the upper town.
Line 7 begins at Rimbaud south of City Hall. This route goes east, north and then west before ending at the Place de Noailles. Buses on this route stop at the hospital.
The bus routes that run on Sundays only are 11A, 11B and 11C. 11A goes north to the hospital from City Hall and south to Saint John and Caurroy. 11B goes south and then east from City Hall. It ends at the the Echangeur. This route goes north from City Hall to the Place de Noailles and Beausejour. 11C will take passengers from City Hall northwest to Wood Park.
The Line 10 bus takes passengers north from City Hall to the Lake of Canada during the summer months.
A shuttle bus from the airport will stops at a number of hotels in Beauvais.
